Hi, is there a folder that keep cache memory for Baka-MPlayer or it doesn't keep cache memory? And I noticed that when i add a movie into the Baka-MPlayer, the desktop icons, the selecting square above icon (in Win. 8.1 is light blue), it becomes slow to show that square when i hover the cursor above desktop icons (not when i selecting them) and shows that light blue square.

And a GIF example: bandicam20181208103604699

Can you see the difference with and without Baka? I mean the speed of change of the blue square?

I would imagine this is just the slowness of your OS/Graphics Card. Can you confirm you don't get this effect when playing a game or something? Baka has no control over your desktop. We don't create any files for cache--that would be very slow.

Hi. thanks for reply.

I would imagine this is just the slowness of your OS/Graphics Card.

You would have been right, but I didn't check it before I send the issue.

Let's start. First, I have Win. 8.1 64-bit.

• I tried with Photoshop and Adobe Premiere= it's normal. FIFA and PES 19 (both are heavy games)= normal. Android Emulator - Download Nox App Player (also heavy)= normal. And i opened the Baka player without movie, in this case its normal, but when i add a movie, the problem beginning.

• Also, i tried with many other players, and it's without issue.

• As far i have try heavy programs and games (heavy and not), desktop have normal behavior. Until i used Baka player 64-bit bersion on Win. 8.1.

• Also, i tried on an older (2-3 times down level from the better pc that i have) pc with Win. 7, 64-bit, but there, it's normal behavior, with 64-bit version of Baka, no issue.

2nd attempt , with 32-bit version of Baka player on Win. 8.1, and no issue. It's normal. I don't know why. Maybe the problem is with Win. 8 or 8.1, and specific with 64-bit version of Baka? Perhaps, this combination is the problem Win. 8.1 64-bit and Baka 64-bit version (?) . Just saying, I don't know.

And, when i asked if the Baka player have cache folder, i didn't mean about that behavior, but if the Baka player, holds history in some folder about movies that i add in it. And if i need to delete that folder.

Interesting, it could also have to do with Qt, might want to check if you experience it with mpv running itself without baka.

It stores a history unless you disable that in preferences, that history is in the config file bakamplayer.ini which is either right next to the executable or in your home directory.

Hi again, i noticed something weird. On Win. 8.1 when i change the theme from windows default theme to basic and high contrast theme, the movie with baka player it plays frame by frame. I change compability but nothing happened, i tried with 32 and 64-bit, same. On windows 7, theres no problem with default theme and basic and high contrast theme. On win. 8.1 and basic and high contrast theme, vlc plays good the movie. You know why this happening with baka player and basic and high contrast theme? Thanks.
