Unable to reproduce.

Those urls are very aggressive about adblocking extensions.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Do you have Tracking Protection enabled in Firefox?

ghajini commented 8 years ago

tracking protection disabled

gorhill commented 8 years ago

tracking protection disabled

There is nothign I can do then, as said, I can't reproduce on my side (just uBO running) -- so I can't investigate.

I get the blocker warning on Chrome, but I just click Continue and all work fine.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

This helps: @@||s1-adfly.com/show.php$subdocument,domain=ay.gy

Yes, seems to work, I will add it. Thanks.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Actually, a redirect also works, so no need to download that frame:

||s1-adfly.com/show.php?url=$subdocument,redirect=noopframe,domain=ay.gy
ghajini commented 8 years ago

what about http://q.gs/AHm4n

gorhill commented 8 years ago

what about http://q.gs/AHm4n

Works fine -- with or without Reek's, with or without clearing cookies.

ghajini commented 8 years ago

in mine firefox ublock blocks only 7 requests as vs chrome blocked 15

i clicked continue as you said ,delete cookies, disabled tracking protection, disabled other addons(i have only 2 addons webroot filtering extension and ublock origin) still it doesn't work with firefox first 2 ss are of firefox and last 3 are of chrome screenshot 12 screenshot 13 screenshot 14 screenshot 15 screenshot 16

ghost commented 8 years ago

@ghajini Use ShareX to film/shoot the screen. Much easier. Maybe try Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List? It contains some additional filters for the site.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

If I enable Tracking Protection in Nightly, I get exactly 7 network requests blocked, and the same page as in your screenshot:

gorhill commented 8 years ago

At this point it is for you @ghajini to find out what is blocking network requests before they reach uBO -- this is an issue specific on your side, that is why nobody else can reproduce so far (except as noted when I enable Tracking Protection in Firefox).

ghajini commented 8 years ago

now with webroot filtering extension enabled its one and same with webroot i got notice that of to disable ublock

and without webroot counter time not working i.e skip button not displaying........

so even after its obivious that firefox ublock not works somewhere

please fix i tried disabling webroot...still it doesn't work @gorhill

so then i have 1 choice of disabling ublock to surf that site on firefox

ghost commented 8 years ago

I doubt he can fix it if he can't reproduce. If you've tried Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List there's still AdsBypasser which I think is worth a try if you find yourself on such sites often.

ghajini commented 8 years ago

I can see issue is with ublock firefox extension with or without webroot.... It is certain that ublock not blocking ads and antiadblock scripts completely in firefox... I already showed videos of proof

Chrome works fine...

Yes sure gorhill understands this...

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Yes sure gorhill understands this...

I understand that something else on your side is blocking network requests before they reach uBO, on Firefox only -- you confirmed this by showing that only 7 network requests reach uBO. Find what it is. If it's not webroot, then something else. The amazing thing is that Tracking Protection causes the exact same symptoms. Frankly I think this is your issue. If so, just say so, if not, investigate further what else. In any case, if this threads keep going on with nothing more than unproductive "please fix gorhill", I will lock it.

I just check below settings where no antivirus obiviously present Android os Firefox 48 with ublock origin 1.8.4

Still same issue Hope you understand to solve issue with firefox You can close thread Thanx

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Originally you reported having the issue with Chrome (which I could not reproduce on my side). Now somehow you do not have this issue with Chrome anymore. What did you do to resolve your issue with Chrome?

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Did you uncheck "uBlock filters" and "uBlock filters -- Unbreak"?

ghajini commented 8 years ago

Iam just ruling out possibility your comment "other program" interfering with ublock traffic so I choose firefox android...iam not running any antivirus on android

Your fix 107 worked with chrome ||s1-adfly.com/show.php?url=$subdocument,redirect=noopframe,domain=ay.gy

Firefox not worked

gorhill commented 8 years ago

The fix was for this screenshot, which you posted before the fix existed

Not for

How did you solve this?

ghajini commented 8 years ago

@gorhill just did random things see here,i don't know how it wotked, may be heuristics(or something that) by ublock

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8wra4moeiflh8j9/Untitled%20Screencast.webm?dl=0

Yes issue is back on chrome after clearing cookies..... Issue on both chrome and firefox for q.gs/AHm4n

ghajini commented 8 years ago

check on your side if by clearing cookies , if adblock removal warning is produced or not

gorhill commented 8 years ago

What is the extension to the left of uBO?

ghajini commented 8 years ago

webroot filtering extension........can i disable it

gwarser commented 8 years ago

webr

Is this related to this webroot thingy? Can you disable this?

Some sort of proxy?

Firefox tracking protection shows shield icon in address bar when enabled.

ghajini commented 8 years ago

webroot nothing to do with this ...i just stopped protection of webroot to see effect https://www.dropbox.com/s/cokfz9xkvebu4bp/Untitled%20Screencast%20%281%29.webm?dl=0

Find out what the dev console of the page says (Ctrl-Shift-i):

The yellow lines are interesting, it seems the browser is saying that it could choose to block stuff depending on whether connectivity is good or not.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

I don't get these syntax errors, even if I remove "uBlock filters -- Unbreak" to get that screen.

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Can you click on amvn.js:1 to see its content?

it is converting to some short text after pasting here in github, how can i show you?

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Reading more about eval, it could be an issue in the scriptlet injected by uBO. As per documentation, eval() can return something and uBO's scriptlet always returns nothing. I will update the scriptlet and you will be able to see if this helps.

Purge cache for uBlock filters then force an update.

ghajini commented 8 years ago

sorry iam not programmer ,i don't understand programming ''eval''...is there any problem of webroot with ublock origin

same warning again

gorhill commented 8 years ago

Same errors in the console?

gorhill commented 8 years ago

The URL in the frame is:

http://www.[removed].in/dot/
    ?dpid=1
    &dpruleid=3
    &cat=107
    &ttl=0
    &groupname=-
    &policyname=-
    &username=-
    &userip=[removed]
    &connectionip=[removed]
    &nsphostname=[removed]
    &protocol=policyprocessor
    &dplanguage=-
    &url=http://static.adf.ly/static/js/amvn.js

Notice that http://static.adf.ly/static/js/amvn.js is in there. This is the URL of the script which was requested.

I am wondering if your ISP is preventing you from downloading some of the scripts on this page, replacing them with some HTML code which obviously can't be executed. When I load that URL in the address bar, I get a page with the message:

Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information.

ghajini commented 8 years ago

how to overcome this

disabling ublock, webroot still says "you have advert blocking ectension enabled'' funny

after series of reloading i can bypass q.qs to original url

thanx for help...its might be my side problem

ghost commented 8 years ago

If you want you can try changing your DNS IPs to two from OpenNIC which has no censorship.

Tmp341 commented 8 years ago

@ghajini Can you share which extensions and uBO filters and also (if you're using) which greasemonkey scripts you're using?
