i just realized a category for popups could work, or should've been that instead.

Add Fanboy’s Annoyance and see if works for you

@mapx- default settings, checked Fanboy's Annoyance, applied and purged then refreshed all.

result is, no popups (tried long enough) and the subscribe box on the side is also gone (but filled with empty space). no problems here after enabling Fanboy's Annoyance.

wait, nevermind, let me test further. it might still be present (but it may not).

ok, i don't think there's a problem any more. no popups with filter.
