Description

The entire page is white, disabling cosmetic filtering fixes this but still doesn't allow you to download from the site

Have you tried testing with your custom filters disabled (that is one of the checkboxes you checked)? 9Anime Filter-list: No Banner Ads looks like it has rules for that website. Edit: I'm wrong. This is caused by mp4upload.com###overlay,div.container in uBlock filters

Yeah. I just added that filter list, the site was already broken prior to that

So the webmaster did it on purpose (e.g., he didn't want to write an enhancement for the modal) or unconsciously (he doesn't keep track of what is blocked by any list).

As for spoiling the rest of it, it's probably a game of cat and mouse or keeping up with what EasyList adds for too wide a range that ricochets off there video or returns modal adblock.
