Description

After two songs, sometimes more, the "footer" at the bottom of the page changes. Instead of the tiny cover of the song, there is an "advert". Using U-Block blocks the ad, but stops the music and prevents me from playing another song. I have to reload the page every time. Then it starts all over again.

Using U-Block blocks the ad

You see "Werbung" stuff and then you want to block it ? or you are saying when "werbung" appears deezer does not work anymore ?

Commercials interrupt the playlist. But the ad itself is suppressed by UBlock. It may be that deezer creates a container that stops playing, and in that container an ad is started. So UBlock blocks the ads, but the container remains and blocks the music playback. I use a free version.
I tried using another browser without uBlock. The ad works as intended by deezer and the music continues after the ad. So it may be that after the ad is played a value is returned that closes the container. See fig (maybe this helps): The last entry in the runtime analysis: "EventHandlerNonNull". (This adblock blocker was introduced with the relaunch of the deezer website.)

I tested in FF / chrome, the ads are blocked but no interruption on my side.

• clear cookies / localStorage/ cache for the tested page
• reset uBO, don't modify any uBO setting, update all the filter lists, don't add any other list (other than your regional list)
• disable any custom filter for that site
• disable any other extension / addon in your browser, disable builtin blockers /shields/ tracking protection in brave/ opera/ vivaldi/ edge/ firefox etc
• if Opera browser: open opera://extensions/ and check the "allow access to search page results" option
• disable (if any) the web shields in your antivirus / antimalware software / other blocking software
• are you using a DNS which features adblocking (like AdGuard DNS)?=> test using another DNS (google for example => IP addresses 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4)
• restart the system, reopen the browser, test again.

Thanks for your support. I did not get it to work on FF 120.01 - so I switched to ms edge for deezer. There uBlock works perfectly.
