Description

so i have the no ads peacock plan but peacock is still asking me to disable uBO. see images for my filter lists, and see images for the popup on peacock. i made a post on reddit about this but since it hasnt been responded to for some time i thought id file an issue report here. thanks!

test using only uBO, no other extension enabled, the default lists
if still getting detection we will need an account to further investigate the issue => if you agree to give us your account credentials I'll provide an email address where to send them

yes it is only an annoyance peacock still lets you watch the content with uBO enabled

Keep that value. Remove the second filter. Add the new filter. Test again.

working fine on my side
disable any other addon / extension, disable in firefox enhanced tracking protection.
you could try in some chromium browser too

I added another filter, @AIDaN80112 be sure you have enabled uBO annoyances (update that list in 5-10 minutes and test again)

yes, it's that list. keep it disabled (ETP) after updating that list and testing again you can reenable it.

it's something on your side, follow all these steps:

clear cookies / localStorage/ cache for the tested page
reset uBO, don't modify any uBO setting, update all the filter lists, don't add any other list (other than your regional list)
disable any custom filter for that site
disable any other extension / addon in your browser, disable builtin blockers /shields/ tracking protection in brave/ opera/ vivaldi/ edge/ firefox etc
if Opera browser: open opera://extensions/ and check the "allow access to search page results" option
disable (if any) the web shields in your antivirus / antimalware software / other blocking software
are you using a DNS which features adblocking (like AdGuard DNS)?=> test using another DNS (google for example => IP addresses 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4)
restart the system, reopen the browser, test again.

yeah its defo an issue with uBO & mac cuz i just tested it on chrome too with a fresh profile & fresh installation of uBO with default settings + enabling the "uBlock filters – Annoyances" filter list and its still happening in chrome

No, I encountered the error in my first tests, so I gave up on Firefox and then tried in Chrome.
