I noticed it worked once, so I got to thinking perhaps it old cache and old cookies. The failure occurred on the latest version of Chrome. So I tried FireFox with UBO and it worked. So I cleared the cached for all time, files and cookies. It seems to be functional now.
Perhaps an amendment to the list of things to try could be clearing browser cache and cookies? I think this issue can be closed.
