I tried to reproduce the issue when...

[X] uBO is the only extension.
[X] using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

My settings aren't saved on my laptop, why am I having to reload them... WT#

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

https://www.monster.com/profile/error

Steps to Reproduce

open Monster, ZipRecruiter, Forbes, SSA.gov, FB, Linkedin, 56 tabs in Edge... All must be loaded AGAIN in UBlock...

Expected behavior

I expected to load a previously set URL and find the UBlock settings intact...

Actual behavior

edge unloaded ublock origin, and I had to add the extension AGAIN, the settings in ublock GONE!

What settings? Did you lose your browsing session? Please describe in precise steps what exactly happened.

The browser was updated!

How was the issue closed?If the browser updates, all settings are gone?

uBO settings are not retained when it is uninstalled/removed, which is what you said happened:

edge unloaded ublock origin, and I had to add the extension AGAIN, the settings in ublock GONE!

You need to investigate on your end why uBO was uninstalled/removed (for example: corporate/group policies, incorrectly flagged by an antivirus program, malware installed on your PC, etc).
