Unnecessary data points in the map route history line should be removed. For instance, if the refresh rate is 1 second, and the user stands in the same location for 10 minutes, only 1 point needs to be stored and displayed in the map route history line, as opposed to 600. Additionally, simplifications of appropriate routes to straight lines should be considered.

While still a desirable feature, the priority for this feature should be downgraded due to the increase of the default position recording interval from 1 s to 15 s.
