My hunch is that most users will not click the "About this site & other maps" link in the footer or dig deep enough to stumble upon the SNAP logo on the front page. I think we should probably put a prominent SNAP logo on either the opening splash screen introduction for each map, the footer, or both.
The SNAP logo is very prominent on the MapVenture front page:

But we don't have a SNAP logo (or even any mention of SNAP at all?) on the Alaska Wildfires: Past and Present map.
SNAP is mentioned on the splash screen of the Integrated Arctic Management map, but there's no SNAP logo.
