Effective use of TIC 201 conference room and equipment

How to use the TIC 201 conference room A/V equipment for Zoom meetings

• Use Crestron tablet to turn on A/V system
  • Located on counter, opposite from door
  • Turn on the system
  • Select input "Computer"
  • Adjust volume as needed
• Using wireless keyboard/mouse...
  • Sign into machine with UAB Campus credentials
  • Open Zoom
    • Join Meeting
    • Enter meeting ID
    • (optional) Enter name "TIC 201 Conference Room"
    • Connect to audio
  • Ensure Zoom A/V settings are configured correctly
    • Set speakers to "Crestron"
    • Unmute
    • Start Video

When scheduling meetings via Outlook for this room (or any other in TIC), set "Location" field of meeting dialog to the TIC rooms. These rooms can be searched by pressing the "Location" button and entering "TIC".

For the 201 room, approval is required, which may take some time.
