• Forked modal_logic gem: Don't know what this is! (CW: me neither, this change was made before I got here. This code was removed from upstream Avalon in version 6, so we likely won't need it)
• Monkeypatch ActionDispatch for stringify_key: 5bbbbc931ce7cb73df6f9a7dfccbce0cae13188a Don't know what this is! (CW: No clue why this was done, but seems related to a rails upgrade. Need to ask Weiwei if she remembers. Likely not needed)
• Batch ingest / License stuff: bf12466fbf5282c0f45f396f329e85913d9be82f NEEDS DISCUSSION (CW: I agree, I've added a spike issue about this #294)
• Autohide controls (needed?) #55 NEEDS DISCUSSION (CW: agree, need to check if Avalon 6 does the right thing)

@weiweishi I've identified the following service-related priorities outside of core Avalon functionality (batch ingest, authentication, LTI) from this list (currently not working AFAIK):

• Open related URLs in other tab: 2cb8eef -- this will be mixed with the license display code from #294

I'm not sure how useful this list is going to be from a service perspective (most things are backend), and I would like to focus our time on ensuring that core functionality is working. I think it's safe to say that anything else on this list can wait
