Customizing a Users DV with a banner #41

I have user who wants to create a customized banner in Dataverse. While there is an option in Settings > Customization to create a custom banner, when they try to provide the link to the custom banner they would like to use it isn’t possible to edit.

I am wondering if we have disabled this option? If so can we turn it on?

The custom header has been disabled for all dataverses including main site. I has been customized by modifying the source code and replacing with content in Bundle.properties file. To turn the feature on, the source code will need to reverse it back to original. This modification need to be tested with other customization that we have made. The feature will be turn on for all dataverses. There is will be a chance that a dataverse owner can put the wrong html tag in the custom header input box that might cause the dataverse page to be broken. I think this might be the reason that the customization has been requested.

Please let me know if you would like to make the change. I will do an estimation and let you know.

I have found the way to work around it by adding tag in dataverse description to display a banner. The banner will be replacing the description wordings. I think this might be a solution for now without modifying source code.
