Hi:
This specimen was exchanged to Stephen M. Russell I believe in the early 1960s. The Record Number is part of a series of birds collected by A.H. Verrill and was received by ROM in a bequest from James Henry Fleming in 1940. Fleming called it his Santo Domingo collection. I am going to drop an image of the Fleming register page for this on GitHub. So, the number should be JHF 23153 not "AV-23153?.
They were bought by Fleming from the KNY Scheerer Company of New York in May 1912.
This series had yet to be assigned a Catalogue Number when exchanged so the only reference number to ROM is the Record Number field on this page.
