I do not detect any problems. can you give more details?

I click on the play button, the loading circle rotates then the play button appears on the video on a black background without any playback....I cleared the cache, changed DNS....but the bug persists

via chrome://media-internals/, I extracted the original url of the buggy video:

https://vidmoly.to/embed-9austo9fikqc.html

I deleted Cromite and restarted my computer and I will wait for the new version in sha Allah to try again and I will let you know the results of my tests, thank you very much for your help !

I am not an expert, can I send you the logs via Cromite developer mode via the F12 key? but I don't know how to do it and what data to send....I click on the network section of developer mode?

while waiting for the new version, with despair I went to explore Cromite's personalized flags and without really believing it, I deactivated "Block insecure private network request" and there, incredible, the video works! it's weird, it seems to me Cromite said in its FAQ since Cromite doesn't know exactly what the network protection function does, Cromite has completely deactivated NetworkServiceSandbox....I suspect the problem comes from this parameter, perhaps Cromite has enabled this security feature which is interfering with streaming of some sites....I have reset my router and am going to do some more testing...thanks for taking the trouble to look into my issue :)

A question please, before I updated Cromite by copying the contents of the zip folder to the Cromite installation folder, but for some time I discovered I completely delete the Cromite installation folder and just have to use to unzip the zip folder and use it while deleting the old folder and I keep my data and favorites, is this the correct method to do a bug-free update please? because maybe this bug comes from the way the update is done....

Another question please : I installed chromium browser from the woolyss site to be able to make comparisons, and so if I reinstall Cromite, is there a risk of data conflict with the chromium browser? because I previously installed different versions of chromium (chromium and ungoogled chromium....) and I lost data because chromium browsers share the same hidden folder C:\Users\Asus\AppData\Local\Chromium\ ?

feraritn commented 3 months ago

Ohh I point out one more important thing, I remember at the beginning Cromite managed to make the videos from this site work then when we come back to the same video, or we try with other videos from the same streaming player in other anime, the video no longer works, so maybe try again with other videos or close the browser and return to the same video on this site and I think the bug will appear....

absolutely do not use chrome or chromium's profile directory in cromite. The problem is that the components in that directory would be used, and the use of those components is not disabled in cromite.

https://vidmoly.to/embed-9austo9fikqc.html

I do not detect any problems.

Block insecure private network request

with or without that flag I see the video.

Cromite has completely deactivated NetworkServiceSandbox

I have not deactivated any sandbox, in fact it is active.

feraritn commented 3 months ago

In FAQ : Enable network process sandbox in windows I don't include any setups because I don't like the experience of not knowing what they do, so you must manually run this command on first installation:

cd icacls . /grant "*S-1-15-2-2:(OI)(CI)(RX)" see https://github.com/uazo/bromite-buildtools/issues/51

ahh my fears are confirmed, perhaps I will rename C:\Users\Asus\AppData\Local\Chromium.....

there is also a very very important thing that chromium browser has and which seems not to be present in Cromite, I will open a new issue
