Constructive answers are welcome, thumbs down without justification do not contribute to the discussion.
Get politics out of here.
@Xisrr1 Helping civilians who suffer the consequences is not political.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but it IS political.
How? You don't help the military and not the state when you spend only for the civilians. War is the consequence of people's suffering, nothing more.
This is political my friend. There is no reason to put politics into a browser, unless the dev wants it.
Not really But yeah, let's wait for the answer of the author. If he hadn't brought up the idea earlier, I wouldn't have thought of it myself either. Although, obviously, the idea doesn't make sense in this discussion. https://github.com/bromite/bromite/discussions/1842
Interesting. Looks even too far to me. Let's see if he'll do something like that.

Describe the solution you would like
Hi, Bromite had a banner on the readme page and a link on the homepage to a page to support Ukraine. I personally think it's a good idea to add both back. Now that Trump is president again, help may be especially important. If anyone has concerns about political neutrality, I think that supporting the population is less about politics and more about humanity.
