Cromite struggles with colorspace of some jxl hdr images. Here is a sample image of a cat:
Found here:
GIMP to the left, Cromite v121.0.6167.101 to the right. As you can see it appears too bright in Cromite.
Thorium shows the same problem, ref:
GIMP reports this as a 32 bit sRGB.
Download linked image, open it in Cromite.
Colors should looks similar to what GIMP produces.
