STARTING A NEW LANGUAGE FOCUS GROUP

  1. Find Language Captain (ideally they will be an appropriate fit and be able to perform Language Captain Duties)Language Captain Duty List

  2. Create Telegram group and follow the group creation guidelines

    • convert to supergroup
    • invite link: currently using ISO keyboard list
    • Add Language Captain as admin
  3. Have the Language Captain translate the following into their own language and script (here Korean as example):

    The UBports Community is excited to announce a brand new language group:

    ==================================

    [language name in their own font/language] | KOREAN Do you speak Korean? Join the UBports Korean language group! Click here to join!

  4. Alert Wayne (@wayneoutthere) when complete and he will create a logo for the group photo. Provide Wayne all of the information here

  5. Add new language group info to Group List Document (non-public, do not post link, ask @peternerlich), lang groups pad [pad](https://papad.org/p/UBLang_SG, line ~60+)

  6. Add new language group info to welcome page (contact @wayneoutthere to edit)

  7. Follow the Language Captain Duty List (don't forget to stay awesome!)

I updated the above. I noticed that several links create 404 errors and go to some MD docs. thanks

Shabam. Links updated plus I figured out how to make the links look neat like Peter did. :)
