Not sure how this got missed, but if you are actually querying and then you zoom to 1:1 or zoom to extent the tool gets disabled but the toolbar still looks like they query tool is selected...
Whether the current tool should be deselected is a whole other debate but this at least makes the current behaviour look ok.
