What I worked on in the past 2 weeks:

Fixed profile page table so trips refresh when a new trip is added/ deleted
Added Markdown to Day card details sections and added markdown support for day card expanded view'
Improved Nav Bar & Login styling
Added Google Places auto-complete to Day Card and connect locations to the Map Component
Made Day card locations a dynamic length list
Debugged some Authentication Issues
Merging other feature branches and working to resolve merge conflicts

What I would do next if I was continuing with the project work:

Streamline the Day Card and Map Integration to be more intuitive (zooming into locations as they are selected)
Integrating Google Routes API to show the most efficient routes between locations in a Trip
Add a share feature to save Trips as a PDF or add other users to your trip
Add AI-suggested destinations for trips using a template prompt with preferences provided by users

implementing authentication in order to load a users trips
Setting up back end to store user authentication details
Making sure each trip loads the correct day card details
Deployment debugging
Merging other feature branches in order to complete our standard requirements
Presentation creation
READ ME file documentation
Testing working branch for bugs
Created the explore page to load all public trips
re designed the home page to create a carousel to load images
What I would create moving forward:
merge our feature bench for downloading trips and sharing
Integrate AI system to reccomend different travel itineraries for different trips
Allow multiple users to edit different trips
Allow users to see different ways to travel from point A to B
