in html.tpl.php:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1">

... needs to be first after the TITLE tag, or it gets ignored, for some silly reason.

Really? Very strange. I've never heard that before. I'll fix this up right now.
