start processing of polishing login #32

I have started the process of polishing login which would include things like:

  1. verifying passwords see if they match (this is what this commit is for)
  2. resending verification email
  3. polishing profile settings (including interests and maybe other stuff)
  4. resetting password
  5. maybe smoother transition to connecting with facebook
  6. refreshing facebook token
  7. fix the existing facebook crashing bug
