1) http://www.opensourcesports.com/ : Sports databases for baseball, basketball and hockey

The Lahman Baseball Database contains individual and team statistics from 1871 to present, and has been available as a free download since 1995.

The Women’s Basketball Database contains individual and team statistics from the American Basketball League and Women’s National Basketball Association from 1996 through the 2012 WNBA season.

The Hockey Database is the work of Doug Reynolds and it covers the following early and alternative leagues: NHA, PCHA, WCHL (known as the WHL in its final year), and WHA. It contains individual and team statistics from 1909-10 through the 2011-12 season.
