anyone else experiencing this? could also be npm. i'm only seeing this on node@6 and npm@3.9.3.

i haven't looked into the issue yet, but i haven't seen any relevant issues here

npm >= 3 is not supported, it states this very clearly in the README.md

I think this issue can be closed
