I did the work to package Pyflame for Fedora, but I didn't follow through with the remaining work to become a Fedora developer, so the package was never integrated upstream. Last I tried this, it required doing a number of other package reviews, which I didn't have the time/expertise for. I can probably look into this again. Same with Debian -- getting a package in requires become a Debian Developer (or an existing DD to sponsor the package), which is a relatively involved process.
Hi, Thanks for developing pyflame. I noticed there's a RPM spec file already in https://github.com/eklitzke/pyflame-rpm , though it's out of date. I wonder why it's not merged into uber/pyflame yet? I'd appreciate it if it's possible to install pyflame using the default package manager (
apt
,yum
, ...) in some popular distros(Ubuntu
,CentOS
, ...).
