create v1.2.1 release #99

The go/lint dependency removal is important for Kubernetes. Can you perhaps tag a v1.2.1 release?

https://github.com/uber-go/goleak/pull/94 would also be useful, but not crucial - the current workaround is to loop around goleak.Find.
