How to analyze the causal effect with real world excel data #744

The sample is full of synthetic data. How to analyze it from the real world excel data? These data are often some features, and there is no treatment.

Hi, @lkpopo.

  1. In causal inference, the causal effect refers to the effect of a treatment on the outcome.
  2. To validate if a causal effect estimation approach works, synthetic or semi-synthetic data are often used as they provide the ground truth of counterfactual outcomes, which are unavailable in real data.
