database auth fail

doing this as a new bug report to make it easier to find in case anyone else hits this for any reason. After messing with trying to get an RC tag deployed I wiped absolutely everything. All images, containers, Networks from docker. deleted the entire lemmy easy deploy folder. and redid all installation from scratch. yet for some reason deploy is now failing with the following failure log entries.

I'm not really sure why this would be suddenly failing especially after wiping everything. Everything should be contained within the images and volumes correct? i double checked that absolutely all of them were removed before i attempted to deploy again.

then mv example conf and change hostname cloudflare api key etc and run deploy.

i think just need a nap lol, a random character somehow got onto the end of the dc connections options in config env and that was apparently making it fail. sorry for all the noise today

Can you post your ./live/lemmy.hjson and redact any sensitive info? Either my script is making a malformed file, or they changed the schema in 0.18 but haven't documented the changes yet.
