New XML conversion #19

The new XML conversion is fully functional. It should be a simple pull; all of the changes are in the XMLWriter class which already exists.

This looks really good Malcolm. I made note of a few things, but otherwise it's great. I haven't heard of XOM before - looks very promising.

And I appreciate that you've written tests.
