This was intentionally changed because for some sites, you need to be able to click on the mute button of the embedded video.
How important was this feature of just clicking anywhere to go to the next frame? Is there any other way to make this easier for your use-case?
I had a feeling it may have been intentional. If possible, I think making the clickable area of the arrows on the side larger would help a lot. Perhaps keep the width the same as the arrows, but make the height 25-30% the height of the view. I've attached a crude drawing of what I mean. If you think that's a good idea I'll go a head and make a PR for the change.
I think the larger navigation area would help a lot. Since my tablet has a huge resolution, those navigation buttons are simply impossible to tap on since the update.
You used to be able to click on an image to move to the next one. Now you have to use the arrow keys or click on the tiny arrows on the sides. This broke in the past few weeks. Tested on latest Chrome and Firefox without any plugins. Windows 11.
