I think the git repository is not a place to put personal test code, sample code, external datasheet or other personal / external data backup. I've sort out the file and propose a new file structure.

There's no personal backup data, test code nor sample code there. You don't run applications on an untested hardware tapped out from the fab. While taking into account versioning and other external dependencies, the datasheet and other files make it easy for this project to be reproducibile and self-contained for anyone. IMOHO, this PR is unnecessary. Create a subdirectory named, say app/ in ~/Holocube/sw/ and develop the application.

Ok I accept the current file structure. Besides, you may consider unzip the gerber so that their actual change can be traced by git.
