Blog aggregator #3

It would be nice to include posts from other website, e.g. lab or private blogs, in the website / RSS feed. Tags could be reused from the source.

That would require some periodically running job though.

It could also be done manually like a normal post, where the author adds a short note saying what the post is about to the link.

I like the idea of someone making a post every now and then of notable blog entries or other websites :) I guess it could be labeled with some special tag.

here is a post about handling external posts in jekyll and marking them as such in index.html, too.

since we've got external posts working we should start auto-aggregating from other sources like the podcast. https://microbinfie.github.io/feed.xml
