Closed sergfeldman closed 6 months ago

Intro

Paymentology is one of the Gnosis partners for card issuing. They preliminary accepted card issuing for Ubiquity registered in the BVI. To proceed they require an NDA signed and a Ubiquity evaluation.

@pavlovcik please, review the issue

Goal

Fill out questionnaire 1 for Paymentology.

Activity

Clarify questions -- Funding -- Who will handle the Ledger Compile the draft according to the prior discussion with Paymentology.

Time estimate

Preliminary, 3 days. Risk for timing - it is not clear now what response is expected to some questions.

Preliminary, 3 days.

Can you break this down into Time: <1 Day bounties?

Would you mind converting it to a markdown or plaintext file? Microsoft Office historically has had too many security issues, so I don't use it.

I changed the issue description so that there are 3 tasks.

Would you mind converting it to a markdown or plaintext file? Microsoft Office historically has had too many security issues, so I don't use it.

The first step is to sign an NDA. After this, I will not be able to share any details of the negotiations publicly, including the filled-out Ubiquity questionnaire. I plan to fill out a draft of the questionnaire on our Google Drive.

Sure I think you should sign the NDA and give yourself a nice official sounding title to push forward on these outreach efforts.

I plan to fill out a draft of the questionnaire on our Google Drive.

You can fill out as you see fit. I think saying "N/A" or "we dont have" in questions e.g. "who is your BIN sponsor?" is acceptable. If you disagree you can post a small question or two in our group chat (any involved conversations should happen on GitHub though) and we can handle something async as long as its an internal decision sort of question vs tangible partnerships like BIN sponsor.

The status update.

Thanks to a few clarifying questions from Paymentology, I managed to find some crypto-friendly BIN sponsors.

Since the full text of the application cannot be provided through the pull request due to the NDA, after completion I will provide the pull request with this list of BIN sponsors.

Potentially, we will be able to use this list with other card issuing providers too.

@pavlovcik As previously mentioned I filled out the Paymentology questionnaire in a file available only for Ubiquity team members. Submission of the questionnaire in the form of a publicly available PR should not be done because of the NDA.

Please review the content so I can submit it to Paymentology. If you need to change something, please write a comment to the document.
