@pavlovcik @Draeieg I found these apps interesting

Intro

There are new findings of GitHub apps that solve similar to us problems in different ways.

It can be productive for us to review their solutions. Also, we can collaborate with core contributors of these projects.

GitRev game

GitRev Game, the platform that turns your GitHub activities into an engaging and rewarding experience.

Merge to earn

Automate rewarding contributors with a slice of ownership over a project and its earnings, when pull requests are merged. Use Safe and a blockchain protocol.

Lol merge to earn is very similar to the bot payut module

Maybe we should give you a sandbox repo to experiment adding interesting apps so we can all observe together.

Also I remember researching slice about a year ago. I think our approach is more streamlined. We are soon rolling out the capability to also distribute governance tokens with the cash so that will effectively be the same idea.

They're one step ahead in comment incentives, we can..... borrow that idea for later kek

yeah, our payout module is orders of magnitude simpler, they have to sign EVERY tx, also only works on mainet

this is a nice "forkcable" idea, and works nicely with the real yield narrative that became hot a few months ago, where rather than incentivizing hunters with a gov token that might be illiquid or has bad tokenomics and as a result never gets any value despite the project being profitable they're directly getting idk 0.1-0.01% of the monthly revenue

IMO that can be a better incentive for long term high quality than just tokens, by example

Youre a hunter working for MakerDAO per DeFillama Maker had a 10.33 Million $ revenue on august would you rather have 1000$ worth of maker tokens (and get dumped by vithalik again kek) or 0.0001 of their monthly revenue? (roughly the same amount at the time of payment) do you speculate on the RWA hype on the token or just take the safe bet and assume those T-bills are going to print someting better/more stable?

Haha it's on the immediate roadmap. I even pitched that in my one minute coinbase video.
