Describe the bug

KDE Plasma graphical issues when working within the desktop environment. Moving windows, opening/closing windows and start menu, sometimes moving mouse cursor between elements.

Hardware

Extra information or context

I seem to get graphical pixelization issues that seems to happen when I'm moving elements (windows, programs, pulling up the start menu, etc.) when in KDE Plasma. This is happening on two (2) ASUS A16 sporting Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU with Radeon RX7700S GPU combo.

Gaming seems to be flawless, this only happens when we're working in the KDE Plasma desktop environment. I'll attempt to catch it in a screenshot, but the glitches happen really fast and is quite jarring.

We tested with other distros like Kubuntu, Mint, EndeavourOS, etc. and things seem to be fine on those.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Finally managed to catch a picture of it. It happens fast but often. IMG_20240817_193828029

I have the same issue on Deck, it triggers usually when plugging it in. No clue why. It is probably just a regression at a driver level IIHTG. I'll check for bug reports on the freedesktop issue tracker.

It appears to have resolved the issue for me. His initial reddit post has excellent video of the issue in case anyone else out there is experiencing the same problem. https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1d8xktb/comment/livjyt3/?context=3
