Please file a request for update ISOs in the respective projects:

Universal Blue is not currently building ISOs for main or hwe images.

but there are f39 iso files here https://archive.org/details/@ublueuploadtest

I believe those are test products not produced or maintained by the Universal Blue team.

Correct, ublue does not officially upload ISOs anywhere but Cloudflare R2, and none for any base image.

gmankab commented 4 months ago

this is very sad to hear

i thought it was official because there is a direct usage instructions link on universal-blue.org, and the instructions contains this archive.org link with outdated f39 iso images

are there any plans for official ublue iso images in future?

We have official ISOs for Aurora, Bazzite, Bluefin, and uCore, all hosted on paid Cloudfare R2. There are no plans for ISOs for any main image. That is undesired and out of scope. Those images exist to build images from and not to use as a desktop. Offering ISOs of them is directly antithetical to their stated purpose.

This is the ISO action we use, there's an example there for how to create your own ISO on the spot:

Thanks for letting us know about this link. I've corrected it to avoid future confusion.
