[HW] Fingerprint reader? #14

Does not appear to be listed neither on "it works" nor "doesn't work" yet I would like to know before unlocking and flashing this ubuntu port on mine :)

I haven't got to test fingerprint reader yet due to the lack of hybris fingerprint plugin for biometryd (related post)

So right now, fingerprint scanner won't be tested until they got it working.

Even then, Goodix FP middleware also needs to be reverse engineered, so it's safe to assume that until someone is willing to reverse engineer it, we'll never have this feature.

Do you have the binary proprietary blob handy for download? I might take a peek.
