Microphone not working with WebAudio API #455

Microphone not working I use https://pedals.io, and online guitar effect tool. When I using it in morph, the microphone does not work. It has 2 modes -

  1. plays back a recorded song; this works.
  2. When I select line in, I get a popup asking for permission to use the microphone. I select yes, but never hear what I’m playing.

I have the latest version of ubports (Ubuntu 16.04 OTA-15) installed on my Nexus4. This same hardware and cabling worked when android was installed on this phone, and still works on my new phone – that's not a comparison, just a verification that all my hardware works for this purpose.

Wow - so it turns out the the microphone on Nexus4 doesn't even work - I can't even use this phone for it's most basic functionality - to talk on the phone! The Nexus 4 download shouldn't even be available to the public if you can't even use it to talk on the phone. What an enourmous waste of time. Thanks for nothing!

Which release-channel do you use (stable, rc, dev)? Did you restart the phone between trying to access microphone with Morph and trying to access microphone with another app?

I encountered a bug in latest dev releases, which breaks the microphone also for other apps, when trying to access it over a web-based app. Only a restart or restart of lomiri desktop environment fixes it.
