Unable to register to Telegram #202

Registration works! I got the sms and the registration went through but when I click New group I get the circle and it spins all the time. The same for New Secret Chat. So can't chat with the community at this point ;)

Secret chats are unfortunately very broken. Please send me log if you like after trying to create a group. Basically all other stuff should work more or less...

Well actually I don't want to create anything. I just want to connect to ubports channels but don't know how. I only get a blank screen with Menu and Telegram at the top. While using try and error method I have tried to somehow search ubports groups but could not do it as search also only brings mi a sniping circle.

I wanted to do it with the file browser and checked show hidden files but found no .cache/ folder or .config/ folder. Probably I'm doing something wrong ;)

They are in your homedir /home/phablet normally ;)

I just want to add, that I have also the registration-problem at Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - armhf (20181012) on BQ M10 FHD and BQ E4.5. Just now I have to wait for testing because of 'limit exceeded please try again later'.

With BQ E4.5 the beta-version worked. But after entering the telephone number the waiting-circle didn't disappear. After a restart of the app I could enter the telegram-code and the initial screen of telegram has been shown. Then I couldn't add any contacts, just select them, but they weren't added. So I reinstalled the official version and now my son can work with the new account. Thanks for helping registering.
