Hey, i have experienced the same. Have you tried to boot twrp from fastboot and do factory reset + system partition flash?

Hi, I've the same problem on the same device (Sony Xperia X Compact, kugo). I used UBports Installer 0.8.8-beta on Windows 10 and experienced same issue. Manipulating settings (wipe personal data or Bootstrap Flash system partitions using fastboot) didn't change a thing. After unsuccessful installation I went back to original Sony software.

after wiping system/data/cache (all three!) the reboot loop stops for me.
