Factory resetting from the UBPorts rescue does not solve the issue
Installing again using the UBPorts desktop app with the same settings does not solve the issue (device had to be selected manually this time)
Note that the boot only stalls after it had rebooted after the installation, and it installed updates to the os
I have just noticed that during the installation when in recovery mode the following error message is shown at the bottom of the screen "failed to save to /cache/recovery/last_locale: no such file or directory"
i have EXACTLY the same issue
I fixed it by installing the Stock Miui Based on Android 10 and the Firmware For that Miui version
