In the UBPorts installer there is a bit of a gap; when the device reboots to ADB, it's not clear whether the process should be paused or not; I paused it and it worked, but first time round I wasn't sure so it took me a few times to successfully install.
I suggest it might be worth being explicit about it...(i.e. you don't have to pause, or you do have to pause, whichever is the correct outcome)
