Linking attribute questions #149

Two questions regarding linking attributes:

  1. Am I understanding correctly that they can apply to any character style?
  2. If a given milestone produces content (e.g. PTXprint is using \zISBNbarcode|.... * to output barcodes) would the expectation be that it should also be a suitable recipient for linking attributes?
