Is there an existing request for this feature?

Describe the feature

The Ubuntu Server guide now has more detailed documentation on joining Active Directory domains or forests using winbind.

This issue is to request that the page https://canonical-adsys.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/how-to/join-ad-manually/ contains links to the ubuntu server guide, as described below, to cover other scenarios of joining an Active Directory domain or forest.

Under Explanation (https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/explanation), we have:

Under How-to guides (https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/how-to) we have:

I don't have links to the actual top-level entries, as they are just menu items on the left. Maybe use the first link of each block (so https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/introduction-to-active-directory-integration and https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/howto-active-directory-integration-joining-a-domain-preparation), or any other you think is best. I may get better links after I show this to Sally, and if they change, I'll file another issue (or update this one).

Thanks @panlinux! I agree this is some nice suggestion. Let me invoke @edibotopic our WSL/Desktop Enterprise documentation tech author who have the most context on how to organize this properly :)

Thanks @didrocks !

I think using a link to the first entry would work fine @panlinux -- we can always try to indicate in the wording that additional material will be found there also.

Before doing anything I will wait to see if you have any updates after talking with Sally.

Thank you for filing the issue.
