I have dual booted with Ubuntu 19.10 and Windows 10 . Whenever i shut down my system with ubuntu , my laptop continues discharging . On checking it out further , i realized that even after switching off my system , my usb ports were still running because on connecting my mobile with a usb , it continued getting charged. The same issue is not present with windows . WIndows makes sure that all ports are switched off before shutting down.
