added the svg image in build and test status and improved some text #44

I made some changes to the README file to fix the issue with the Travis CI badge URL redirection. I updated the URL to point to the correct .com domain and added the missing closing parenthesis.

I believe that this will make it easier for developers to quickly see the build and test status without having to navigate to Travis CI domain
