There's a discussion going on here: https://github.com/flathub/org.gtk.Gtk3theme.Yaru-Red-dark/issues/1

This is not related to this repository. Closing so.

hi @Jupi007

let's keep this one open to track the flatpak themes progress?. currently yaru-red, yaru-blue, yaru-purple are pending on flathub for merge. the remaining ones have been merged

Jupi007 commented 2 years ago

Okay, I agree :+1: :)

@Muqtxdir Is there any updates on this ? As of now I see that sage-dark and both dark and non dark variants of Viridian, Blue, Purple, Red are still not installable as flatpaks.

I want to add my +1 to this. Purple Dark is my favorite theme, but some apps are displayed as the light default.

sorry for making little to no-progress on flatpak side, the issue is because the name for these accent-colors is already taken by older versions of yaru-colors project. It is causing name-conflict with these older-versions. Until those are marked as end of life by the maintainer there is nothing that I can proceed with.

Thank you for the clear explanation @Muqtxdir. Is there any manual method/workaround people can still have these flatpak packages properly themed?

Muqtxdir commented 2 years ago

that would require you to manually build it as flatpak and install the runtime locally, which is far from the ideal experience that a normal user should go through.

OK. Thanks anyhow.
