Expected Behavior Yaru Icons gets applied properly to lxqt components like FM and Panel.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem Install yary-icon-theme from apt, apply for system through settings and logout and login, icons will be missing for panel items like battery, volume control, clipboard and in app menu also few icons are missing, same for navigation icons in Fm.

Software that presents the issue

Comparison between Papirus-Dark and Yaru-Dark in Lxqt..

HI

The yaru theme suite currently has poor support or rather none for Qt applications. Icons follow the freedesktop specification though so I wonder why the full color icons in your screenshot are yaru icons but not the symbolic icons. I have no knowledge in how Qt themes work at all. Since this project here is several years old I have forgotten what our progress was on Qt themes. A quick look makes me think that we never successfully added one https://github.com/ubuntu/yaru/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+qt

Currently fully supported is only the ubuntu desktop running gnome shell. However we also have themes for mate and xubuntu, which are both gtk based. Oh and even unity

But what i actually meant was for icons and not for theme, the icons are the one that are distorted.....

If lxqt follows the freedesktop specification we would need names of the icons that are missing and make symlinks from our icon set to them. Here are all the lists of symlinks https://github.com/ubuntu/yaru/tree/master/icons/src/symlinks

I will find and tell, basically the icons that are missing are actually icons of panel and navigator etc., so i cannot generically name them ??
