Looks like Qt prerequisites are missing. As per https://camcops.readthedocs.io/en/latest/developer/building_client.html, see https://wiki.qt.io/Building_Qt_5_from_Git and search for "xcb"; for Ubuntu the missing library is probably libxcb*-dev and perhaps libx11-xcb-dev. Does that help? R
@RudolfCardinal ^libxcb.*-dev
and libx11-xcb-dev
were already installed, however I had missed this step in the Building Qt 5 from Git doc :
sudo apt-get build-dep qt5-default
(having enabled "Source code" option in Software and Updates > Ubuntu Software)
Following the instructions to build the client on Ubuntu 18.04.2 I get the following error:
ERROR: Feature 'xcb' was enabled, but the pre-condition 'features.thread && features.xkbcommon && libs.xcb' failed.
Any ideas?
