Why the clkgen directory is `.clkgen` #90

Is transforms/.clkgen/ some special in Scala or Chisel?

It is simply there to be hidden. Most operating systems do not show files that start with . by default. We haven't been using that code in a long time and it will be removed in the release of barstools that corresponds to Chisel 3.4/Firrtl 1.4.
